AMBALA (SATISH HANDA):  Health department team comprising of Dr Balvinder Kaur Deputy CMO, Dr Vijay Verma,  Dr Hitesh Markanday accompanied by police and duty magistrate  Prem Singh on a clue conducted surprise raid at a room in agriculture field near Vishnu Vihar Colony at Singhawala Ambala City and caught two persons checking sex of unborn child of a six months pregnant woman with the help of Multi Para Monitor and a Pulse Meter applying Jelly on her lower stomach by two persons identified as Surinder introduced himself a doctor and Sohan Lal alias Sonu worked as agent in this deal settles at Rs 25000.

Later, it was disclosed that Surinder was a ward servant and Sohan Lal a member of  para medical staff both working at a private Aggarwal Hospital at Prem Nagar Ambala City checking sex of unborn babies illegally with the medical tools used for checking heart beats and pulses in the hospital.and at times conducting abortions charging Rs 25000 misguiding pregnant women carrying female child in their womb. Both were arrested by Sadar police station Ambala City and remanded to police custody by the court.on Friday. Expressing deep concern, Dr Manoj Aggarwal.said that told that he was unaware of his employees involved in illegal practices.
