22 new projects in 22 Haryana districts in 2022

Carona virus not only claimed large number of lives in Haryana state but also adversely affected important developmental projects in education,  health, sports, transport, industry, infrastructure and other sectors in the state in past two years which are still hanging for one reason or other. According to information, if everything goes well nearly 22 pending developmental projects in the state may be completed during year 2022.    

It is due to initiative by Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij the state is going to have a highly equipped Cancer Hospital at Ambala Cantt waiting for inauguration, a 200-Beds government hospital at Yamunanagar and three medical colleges in the state at Kaithal, Sirsa and Mahindergarh this year. A highly equipped 50-Beds Cancer hospital inside civil hospital Ambala Cantt built with the cost of more than Rs 72re is almost ready awaiting inauguration. This hospital having OPD on the ground floor and three floors will treat cancer patients from all over in the state having facilities for IPD, day care, kemo-therapy, modern OT, radio-therapy,  ultrasound, X-ray, CT simulator and mamma-grapy to treat breast cancer patients.

The state is going to have three new medical colleges during year 2022 at Kaithal to admit 200 students every year, another medical college in 21 acre area at Sirsa on which amount worth Rs 325 crore is being spent by the government. 65% construction work has been completed in third medical college being set up at Mahindergarh with project cost worth Rs 506 crore. Information reveals, nearly 90% construction work of 200-Beds hospital at Yamunanagar delayed due to COVID-19 has been completed and this hospital will start functioning by the end of this year..

The work for construction of run-way of International Airport at Hisar is likely to be completed by month September 2022 and there is a proposal for developing a manufacturing hub in this complex. Face lifting of run-way inside Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation at Karnal for landing of helicopters at present is under process when length of run-way is being increased from 30000 to 50000 feet to enable landing and operations of helicopters as well as small  aircrafts, the work is likely to be completed by December 31, 2022.

 The construction of building for proposed National Institute of Fashion Designing (NIFD) in 10.42 acres area in Sector 23 Panchkula along with a hostel for students in 2.90 acres area with the project cost worth Rs 133.16 crore is likely to be completed by the end of this year to impart training in fashion and knitwear designing. Another project for rail coach manufacturing is being set up at Sonepat on 161 acre area provided by Haryana state government with the project cost worth Rs 434 crore likely to provide employment opportunities to large number of youths in Haryana state.

Work on Waste to Energy Plant another important project in the state being set up at Bandhwad in Gurugram district is near to completion in which door-to-door collection of 1500 ton garbage will be  collected from more than 10000 residential premises in Gurugram and Faridabad everyday will be processed to produce 25 MW electricity daily on which government investing amount worth Rs 505 crore.

Developing a Food Park is another important project being set up inside IMT Rohtak on which amount worth Rs 171.75 crore will be spent by the government with subsidy amount worth Rs 50 crore provided by the Union government.  Construction work of this project is near to completion which will provide employment to large number Haryana residents.  A pollution free sugar mill the first of its kind in the state to produce  75 lakh quital sugar in a season is being set up at Panipat with the investment of Rs 306 crore likely to sstart production by the end of this year. To encourage crop cultivation in agriculture sector in Haryana state Indo-Israel Integrated  Horticulture Centre is being developed in 50 acre area at Bhiwani with the investment of Rs 8.25 crore. The foundation stone of this project was laid in December 2020 to improve cultivation of fruits especially apple and guava.

Single line Elevated Railway Track in 6 km area at Kurukshetra the second such project in the country on which amount worth Rs 218.68 crore is being spent will cover five railway gates on the track. Elevated flyover  under construction at Palwal will control traffic on Delhi-Agra national rail track in which70% work has already been completed by now and the project has been scheduled for completion by December 31, 2022. Nearly75% work for construction of Central Yoga & Nature Cure Education Research Centre at Badli in Jhajjer district has been completed. This project was delayed due to epidemic outbreak in past over a year. There is a proposal to develop 120-Beds nature cure hospital in this centre as well as a training centre to provide natural treatments.

As many as eight dream projects of Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij under process at Ambsals delayed due to COVID-19 are expected to be completed during year 2022 which include Cancer Hospital awaiting now inauguration, Bank Square to accommodate all banks and insurance companies in the town at a place, 3-storey Multi-level parking on Railway Road Ambala Cantt, Science Centre to provide technical assistance to Ambala scientific industry having more than 1000 manufacturing units in the town, Sports Hostel, International standard Gymnastic Stadium and All Weather Swimming Pool inside War Heroes Sports Stadium Ambala Cantt all are lying ready for insuguration.
