According to Haryana state police record, 339 persons returned to Haryana state from other countries after corona virus spread went underground and police failed to trace them in-spite of all efforts. Some of them disappeared to avoid quarantine by the health department suspecting contagious corona virus in them. During investigation the names and addressed in most of passports were found fake by state secret agencies when health department suspected that missing people may spread disease in the state or other states. State Health and Home Minister Anil Vij has directed all SPs in the state for thorough search of missing persons arrived in the state from other countries.
Initially, it was suspected that nearly 200 persons arrived in Haryana state from other countries are missing, but after thorough search in all districts in the state it was observed that 339 persons arrived from other countries are missing.. According to state police information, total number of 8034 persons had arrived in Haryana state from other countries, of them 7695 persons were quarantined by the state health department confirmed corona negative and 339 persons disappeared suspected suffering from contagious disease suspected some of them might have shifted to other states as police failed to locate them and referred to government in the centre.
Talking to media persons, Anil Vij expressed concern over ‘Tabligi Zamaatis’ and foreign nationals arrived in Haryana state adversely affected the scenario of Haryana state spreading corona virus in several districts. Information also reveals, there are nearly 6500 NRIs in neighbouring Punjab state, most of them also stated missing suspected hiding in other states and also posing a threat to residents of Haryana state although all borders have been sealed by Haryana state government. Information also reveals that there are few visitors from other countries suspected already returned to their countries and there may be few having incorrect name and address on their passports and travelling illegally.
