36 persons booked allegedly making fake messages on social media

According to state government information, police registered cases against 36 persons allegedly involved in making fake messages on social media and stern action would be taken against them under IPC and IT Act against those also making fake messages on Whats up and social media accounts, Additional Director General Police (Law & Order) Haryana Navdeep Singh Virk said that 1141 FIRs has been registered against those violated lock down orders by the state government, arrested 1655 persons moving on the roads during lock down, impounded 5750 vehicles on the roads and collected amount worth Rs 7.11 crore towards fine from vehicle owners in the state. He said, all industrial units except those manufacturing pharmaceutical products including hand sanitizers, face masks as well as traders other than medical stores, fruits & vegetables sellers and general merchandize goods traders observed closure. Virk warned residents to remain inside their house to follow lock down declared by the government and avoid police action against them.

According to farmers in Haryana state cultivating fruits and vegetables they have been adversely affected due to lock down and closure of wholesale vegetable and fruits markets. According to flower growers in the state, they suffered heavy crop loss due to cancellation of marriages and other functions due COVID-19 and no demand of flowers during recent ‘Navratras’ festival. The wholesale flower traders told that they used to get bulk orders for flowers from other states including U.P, H.P, Delhi, Kolkata in West Bengal and Madurai in South during this season in past years but failed to get even a single order this year causing huge loss to flower cultivators in the absence of orders caused loss worth crores of rupees this year in the state. According to farmers demanding compensation from the state government, the farmers said, they are compelled to throw flowers on the roads to save plants.

According to state health department information, the number of corona positive patients in Haryana state reached 72 from 45 in past 24 hours, of them 21 corona positive patients were present in Tabligi Zamaat event at Nizamuddin Masjid New Delhi. Information reveals, out of total number of 1372 suspected persons in Haryana state nearly40% included those present at Tabligi Zamaat event and most of them arrived at Gurugram  declared ‘Red Zone’ and Faridabad declared ‘Hot Spot’ where the number of new corona positive cases witnessed 37.5% increase in past 24 hours. Out of 29 new corona positive cases recorded in 24 hours in Haryana state include 8 cases at Faridabad, 13 cases at Palwal (in addition to 3 old cases), 3 cases at Gurugram, 2 cases each at Bhiwani and Kaithal and one case at Nuh out of these 16 corona positive cases include at Palwal and 5 cases at Faridabad are those present at Tabligi Zamaat even at Nizamuddin. According to state health department information, out of 72 suspected  corona positive cases in Haryana include 21 cases from other states, which include 5 cases from Tamilnadu, 3 cases each from Kerala and West Bengal, 2 cases each from Telanga and Bihar, one case each from Punjab, U.P, Maharashtra, Kolkata, Delhi and Nepal.
