Ambala : Committee comprising of ASP Ambala, Mayank Singh in-charge Shahzadpur police station in Ambala district,  Sanjay Taak Block Handa& Panchayat Officer Naraingarh, Dr Dinesh Kajal Excise & Taxation officer, Anil Kumar DSP Naraingarh destroyed 39000 bottles illicit liquor which included 34839 bottles English wine and 4025 bottles illicit country made liquor seized by the police and excise department in as many as 18 raids by excise & taxation department and police from year 2017 to 2021.

Jashandeep Singh Randhawa SP Ambala told media persons that. such stocks of illicit liquor recovered during 18 raids from time to time in the area while being smuggled were lying dumped in the stores of police stations in the area and their cartons were badly damaged when decision was taken to destroy the same in the presence of members of a committee constituted by district administration.  He told that 39000 bottles illicit liquor were crushed under the wheels of dumper in the presence of all members of committee.
