SP Ambala Jashandeep Singh Randhawa addressing media persons told that CIA Staff 2 of Ambala police has arrested four hard core criminals involved in large number of murders, robberies, dacoity and other crimes were arrested by CIA-2 Staff led by Virender Walia near Babyal immigration ground under Mahesh Nagar police station area Ambala Cantt late Saturday night. They were produced before duty magistrate on Sunday and remanded to police custody for six days. Police recovered three 7.65 bore pistols, 22 cartridges and three Smart mobile phones from them. The arrested accused were identified as Shashank Pandey the mastermind in the gang a resident of Gorakhpur in U.P, Sahil alias Jagga, Ashwani alias Manjeet and Bunty all three residents of Ambala.
During police remand it was observed that all seized weapon having star mark were owned by Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldi Brar gang and were working on the tips of both gangsters. During preliminary investigation Shashank Pandey admitted he had brought eight pistols from Madhya Pradesh few days ago, of these three pistols were being used by them and remaining five pistols were handed over to other members of gang. Information reveals, a case was registered against Shashank Pandey by police at Parao police station Ambala Cantt in a robbery case against him for robbing Rs 8 lakh in 2020 and another case registered allegedly robbed Rs 12 lakh cash and half kilogram gold ornaments in 2021 and he was presently released on bail. Similarly, a case was registered against both Jagga and Sahil allegedly robbed a 70 years old woman on July 9, 2018 and arrested by Detective Staff Ambala police in 2020. There are also large number of criminal cases registered at various police stations in Ambala against Ashwani alias Maneesh.
Meanwhile, STF arrested Parveen alias PK a resident of Bahadurgarh near Sector 15 Sonipat a sharp shooter of Lawrence Bishnoi gang during late. Saturday night. During security checking while he was sitting on driver’s seat in a car police recovered two foreign made pistols and a round of AK-47 gun in the car. During preliminary investigation Parveen admitted that he used to procure arms for Goldi Brar gang on his directions when sitting abroad. Information also reveals, Parveen alias PK was involved in recent case in which he threatened to kill demanding Rs 5 crore ransom amount from Sukhvinder Singh MLA and the case is being investigated by STF.
