KARNAL (Satish Handa: On the direction of Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij, SIT constituted in the state led by IGP Karnal Range Bharti Arora along with five IPS officers, 451 cases were registered  against immigration agents in which 451 agents were arrested by the police allegedly  cheated youths sending them abroad on the basis of fake documents after collecting amount worth lakhs of rupees from them as such youths were arrested by the police in abroad and sent to jail.

Vij appreciated the role of Bharti Arora busted several agents running a network in the state. During world wide epidemic outbreak the youths lodged in jails were sent to India, which included hundreds of youths hailing from Haryana state when a drive was launched on the order of Vij and complaints were registered at different police stations across the state. Among those arrested in Haryana include 150 agents at Karnal, 96 at Ambala, 85 at Kurukshetra, 62 at Kaithal, 41 at Panipat, 6 at Yamunanagar,  4 at Jind, 3 at Sonepat,  2 at Hisar and one each at Bhiwani and fatehabad. Bharti Arora told that amount worth rs  1 crore, 22 lakh, 55 thousand 300 hundred was recovered from arrested immigration agents.
