CIA Staff Gurugram police along with state drug department on a clue conducted a  raid and seized 5900 thermal scanners imported from China  from a Manesar based company. The team comprising of District Drug Controller Amandeep Chauhan conducted surprise raid on the direction by State Drug Controller and handed over the goods to Amit Khatri Deputy Commissioner Gurugram for forwarding the units to civil hospitals in the state. Chauhan told that a thermal screener costs Rs 700 each plus GST costing total around Rs 870 each unit being sold in black market at the price ranging between Rs 7000 to Rs 10000 each.
