BAHADURGARH (SATISH HANDA): Bahadurgarh police station in Jhajjar district started search for the arrest of six youths including four farmer youths and two female activists on protest at Tikri Border allegedly involved in gang rape of a 23 years old girl hailing from Hoogly in West Bengal who met these members of Kisan Social Army of Kisan United Front when they visited West Bengal for poll promotion against BJP contestants during Vidhan Sabha elections. Bengali woman activist expressed desire to assist farmers’ agitation at Tikri Border and accompanied them while on way back to Delhi in the train and arrived at Tikri Border on April 12, 2021.

Vijay Kumar SHO Bahadurgarh City police station told media persons that a case was registered against six members of Kisan Social Army on the complaint of father of Bengali female activist allegedly attempted to sexually assaulted his daughter in the train during journey from West Bengal to Delhi, later kidnapped her, kept in their possession illegally, threatened to kill and repeatedly gang raped her inside the tent they were residing at the place nearby of protest at Tikri Border with effect from April 11 to April 16, 2021 when she became Corona positive and died due to respiratory problem in a private hospital at Bahadurgarh  on May 30, 2021.

Police investigation officer told that three police teams were constituted under SIT started search for absconding alleged accuse identified as Anoop Chanaut resident of Hisar and a member of Aam Aadmi Party, Anil Malik resident of Delhi claiming himself a leader of Aam Aadmi Party but refused by the party senior leaders having any link with their party, two other youths Ankur Sangwan and Jagdish Singh Barar and two females identified as Kavita Arya and  Yogita Suhag alleged involved in gang rape conspiracy. After recording the statement of gang rape victim the case was handed over to Women police station Jhajjar for further investigation.

SP Jhajjar Rajesh Duggal visited Tikri Border along with  DSP Pawan Kumar in-charge SIT where the tent in which alleged accuse were living and the female was gang raped was found removed by the protesting farmers. Meanwhile, one of the accuse Anoop Chanauti through a video clipping on internet claimed himself innocent and not involved in any criminal activity blaming his companion Anil Malik attempted to sexually assaulted the girl activist from West Bengal in the train during journey from West Bengal to Delhi and also repeatedly raped her in the tent at Tikri Border where they are living .  Similarly, another female activist Kavita Arya too on her facebook denied any involvement in this case except assisted rape victim as and when she needed. Preeti Bhardwaj Chairperson Women Commission in a notice to SP Jhajjar has demanded detailed report as regard this crime within five days and arrest of all accused involved in the case. Meanwhile, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has directed Jhajjar police to arrest all accused involved in the gang rape immediately and punished them severely. Father of the victim produced several facts in the case likely to help arrest of alleged accuse in the case.

Vijay Kumar SHO Bahadurgarh told that police has prepared a list of all important facts identified during preliminary investigation in the case with effect from April 1 to April 30, 2021 as under:

1. Six volunteers of Kisan Social Army at Tikri Border left for West Bengal for poll publicity against ruling BJP in Vidhan Sabha polls on April 1, 2021 and were introduced to 23 years old Bengal rape victim girl in a poll procession at Hoogly. Rape victim desired  to assist farmers agitation going on at Tikri Border on April 2, 2021 when she was convinced by a female volunteer of  Kisan Social Army and accompanied six volunteers to join agitation at Tikri Border.She made a complaint of sexually assaulted by a member of Kisan Social Army in the train compartment during journey on way to Delhi, which she also disclosed to her father on April 14, 2021 on telephone.
2. The victim girl had excessive bleeding after she was gang raped inside the tent at Tikri Border where members were living on April 16, 2021 and in the state of terror she also disclosed to a female member of Kisan Social Army who prepared her video on April 17, 2021 and matter also came to the knowledge of few senior farmer leaders on April 18, 2021 but no action was taken by them.
3. The condition of victim girl further deteriorated when she suffered from diarrhoea and vomiting. On April 21, 2021. On April 24, the victim started having respiratory problem and matter reached to a senior farmer leader Yogender Yadav. She was medically examined by a doctor when the victim was even unable to speak properly.
4. Meanwhile, both Anoop Chanout and Anil Malik were found disappeared from the place  of agitation all of sudden on April 25, 2021 and when  senior farmer leaders tried to contact them on mobile phone  that told that they are at Agra in U.P, but according to mobile phone location they were traced at Hansi in Haryana. When senior farmer leaders threatened to refer the matter to police both assured to reach Tikri Border in a day or so but both never bothered to return.
5. Victim girl was taken to PGI Rohtak for medical examination and on testing detected Corona positive but there was no vacant bed available in the hospital as such she was admitted in a private hospital Shivam Hospital at Bahadurgarh with the  recommendation of a Rajya Sabha member on April 25, 2021. Victim’s father also reached Bahadurgarh on getting information that his daughter was unwell admitted in the hospital on April 29, 2021 and having tears in the eyes she told every things to her father how she was repeatedly gang raped by the youths with effect from April 11 to April 16 and her statement was recorded.
6. The condition of victim girl further worsened on May 30. 2021 and she was declared died by doctors on the same night when father started weeping to see his only daughter lying dead and her body was confined to flames next day. After a meeting with the senior farmer leaders of Joint Farmers Front at Tikri Border on May 8, 2021 when he was assured help victim’s father a complaint was lodged with police.
