70 FIRs against cheat immigration agents

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has ordered stern action against cheat immigration agents allegedly sent youths abroad assuring high hopes to earn money after the incident of as many as 76 youths   from Haryana state locked behind bars in jails at USA were sent back to Amritsar airport due to severe corona epidemic outbreak in USA few days ago. Information reveals, nearly 70 FIRs has already been registered against immigration agents illegally sent these youth to USA on the basis of fake documents after collecting huge amount. The remaining six youths cheated by immigration agents are also going to file cases against cheat agents. Most of the complainants told that they had paid amount ranging between Rs 12 to 18 lakh to these cheat immigration agents after their parents had sold out properties and gold jewellery dreaming their children earn money in abroad but they were arrested by police in USA after spending several nights in jungles empty stomach due to having fake documents issued by immigration agents.

Meanwhile, Vij has directed  Manoj Yadav DGP Haryana to submit a list of all immigration agents in the state and arrest gangs involved in cheating youths, showing them rosy dreams, sent abroad on the basis of fake documents and played with the career of innocent youths while sitting in five star air condition offices. He deputed a senior IAS officer P.K.Agarwal of Haryana state to investigate matter and put cheat immigration agents behind bars. Information reveals that police has already registered eight FIRs in police stations at Ambala, eight FIRs at police station Naraingarh, six FIRs in police station at Kaithal and many more in other places in the sate. According to complainant youths, they registered complaints against immigration agents sent them to USA through illegal entry and had to spend nights in Panama jungles without having food for many days and finally arrested by the police or army in the absence of documents. Preliminary investigation reveals that the complainants named few immigration agents Surinder Chhinda having office near Huda Ground Ambala City, Kaptan Singh resident of Ambala City representing a Delhi based immigration agency, Surinder alias Sinda resident of village Khanna Majra and Deepak resident of Ansal (Panipat). The complainants told that immigration agents stopped picking their telephone calls after collecting money.
