Chandigarh: Canara Bank Worker’s Organisation an affiliate of National Organization of Bank Worker’s and Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh 8th All India Triennial Conference inaugurated by Humble Chief Minister of Haryana Sh. Manohar Lal Khatter with lighting the lamp. Member of Parliament Smt. Kiron Kher was the Chief Guest. Canada Bank Executive Director Sh. Debashish Mukherjee , and NOBW Gen Secretary Sh. Upender Kumar were guest of honor. Smt Asha Jaiswal Ex-Mayer welcomed the delegates as Chairperson of Reception Committee.
Around 500 delegates from all over the country are participating in 2 days Conference. Total five business sessions will be there and Agenda of the Conference will be deliberated including passing of Gen Sec. Report, Accounts for three year period in these sessions. Apart from this some resolutions regarding Bank employees’ issues like Opposing outsourcing, Compassionate Appointment, Sufficient recruitment in all cadres; Employees participation in management will also be passed. Finally election of new Office Bearers and Executive Committee for next three years term will be conducted.
