In Brief: Ambala railway station to be modernised

Ambala Cantt Railway Station at the junction of several states from where more than 275 fast and passenger trains pass and over 25000 passenger board trains everyday was declared a world class railway station by Union Railway Minister few years ago but failed to get desired face lifting in past years for one reason or the other. B.S. Gill Station Director told media persons that Ambala Cantt railway station would have modernized look from the next financial year to commence from April 1, 2019. Work for the installation of four lifts each at the circulating area near RPF post, platform no 1, platform no 2-3 and platform no 6-7 to provide relief especially to old-age and handicapped passengers from one platform to other for which trials are going on, although an escalator is installed at the railway station.

Gill told that work for construction of modern toilets for the passengers is also under process on which amount worth Rs 39 lakh has been spent. Presently, there is a model of steam rail engine installed at the entrance gate of the railway station complex and there is plan to install an army tank displayed opposite VIP gate at the railway station with the assistance of to exhibit the power of Indian Army. Gill said that 110 feet high National Flag installed at the railway station campus visible from distant National Highway No. 1 would be a source of attraction for the visitors at the railway station.        

International ATM hacker gang busted

CIA Staff of Haryana police busted a international gang of four persons and arrested the mastermind Amit Tyagi an MCA resident of Meerut in UP along with his companions Atul Beniwal also an MCA a resident of Haridwar in Uttaranchal Pradesh, Vikram alias Vikki a mechanical diploma holder a resident of Fatehabad in Haryana and Sandeep a matriculate resident of Najafgarh in Delhi all running a racket hacking ATM accounts. They were arrested by the police while planning to hack an HDFC bank ATM while working on the laptop in a car registration no. HR 26CC-5129 on G.T. Road near Panipat. In-charge Cyber Crime Cell Panipat during investigation detected that the gang having international links in other countries including Canada, Britain, United States and Srilanka used to sell data of nearly 500 hacked Indian and foreign debit and credit cards to international Indian nd foreign hackers with the help of over a hundred antisocial elements.

Sources also revealed that the gang was also having a network involved in large number on-line cheating cases in Haryana , Punjab, U.P, Delhi and few other states in past sometime. Police seized two laptops, a chip, two data cards having debit and credit data of several accounts stored in it as well as in the laptop and the car.  During preliminary investigation the arrested youths admitted the crime and a case registered against them. Amit Tyagi and Atul Beniwal were remanded to police custody, whereas Vikki and Sandep were sent to jail under judicial remand by the court.
