Haryana’s Cabinet Minister for Health & Sports visited Ambala Cantt railway station declared World-Class Railway Station along with Dinesh Chander Sharma Divisional Railway Manager, ADC, Executive Engineer PWD and Executive Engineer Irrigation Department to inspect all pending projects declared by Railway Ministry.

It included construction of synthetic roads at the entry and exit of railway station complex, cleanliness measures in railway station complex, modernization of toilets, security enhancement at the railway station and construction of four wall and steel fencing on all sides of railway station, repairs to faulty CCTV Cameras and installation of CCTV cameras on rotating at 360 degree on all platforms, construction of rail coridor, beautification of railway platforms, installation of accelators on platforms, installation of passenger lifts, ban over entry of vehicles inside railway station complex, beautification of 2nd class waiting hall, Censor toilets for handicapped rail passengers, installation of metal detectors at the railway station and construction of underway bridge dividing the city at an early.
