Ambala, April 2 (Satish Handa): Controversy started by the political parties in opposition after the arrest of a youth identified as Amit (24) son of a senior BJP leader Jagmohan Lal District BJP President at Ambala by Punjab police from whom 30 gm heroine was recovered. Punjab police arrested two youths identified as Kapil and Nikhil both residents of Ambala and recovered from them 10 gm and 15 gm heroine respectively being supplied to youths in Zirakpur and DerraBassi area. During police remand, both disclosed the name of Amit son of BJP leader as prime supplier of drugs and on their clue Punjab police trapped Amit also a drug addict in their net carrying 30 gm heroine and registered a acse against him under NDPS Act.
Lot of controversy was seen in the political sphere against BJP leader also claiming to contest coming Vidhan Sabha polls demanding his resignation. Chitra Sarwara AICC Mahila General Secreatay strongly condemned demanding immediate suspension of Jagmohan Lal by BJP high command. Anshul Aggarwal president AAP while addressing a press conference said that BJP leader should submit resignation on moral ground and also burnt effigy of BJP leaders. President of JJP in the area Mandeep Singh Boparai made a comment over BJP leader as a drug smuggler not a ‘Chowkidar’
