101 new projects announced in Haryana in 100 days: Khatter

Addressing media persons at the launch of ‘Samridhi Yozna, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter not only released ‘Report Card’ of past 100 days BJP rule in the state second time in which 101 new developmental projects were announced by the government in the state, he said exhibiting ‘Road Map’ of remaining four years and nine months rule in the state. Among others present at the occasion were Dushyant Chautala Deputy Chief Minister, Ranjit Singh Chautala Power Minister and State Minister Anoop Dhanak from alliance JJP. Presenting Road Map, Khatter assured large number of developmental schemes for the welfare of people and prosperity in the state after announcement of Union budget recently.

Khatter said that several sensational scams took place in the state were not exposed intentionally by past governments from political parties in opposition ruled in Haryana state, whereas BJP government while ruling in the state in past five years was successful to make state corruption free, brought transparency in work in government offices and exposed all scams during this period to public. He said, after coming to power in the state second time, grant for amount worth Rs five crore has been allocated to every MLA in the state to undertake important developments in their constituency.

Chief Minister said, both BJP as well as its alliance JJP are serious in promoting self-employment schemes for youths in the state, especially in agro-based industrial sector like poultry farming, fish farming and mushroom farming. He said, decision has been taken to provide loans and electricity connections up to 20 KW to agro-based industry at subsidised rates as compared to industry in other sectors. Khatter further added that government has decided to settle all long pending cases causing revenue loss to the government in the first week of every month and utilise the amount on developments. He assured, by the year 2022 not only farmers’ income in the sate would be double but also every kitchen would have availability of pure drinking water in urban as well as rural areas in the state. He said, as many as six lakh water connections were identified in rural areas in the state, of them over two lakh water connections have already been provided at nominal charges within 100 days by BJP government after coming to power second time. He announced to make all villages in the state free from ‘Lal Dora’ shortly.

Khatter said, ruling BJP government in Haryana state has announced gift for 65 to 70 lakh families in the state below poverty line having yearly income up to Rs 1.80 lakh and agriculture land up to 5 acres providing them Rs 6000 financial assistance every year and amount worth Rs 4000 has already been transferred in the bank accounts of 90000 families in the state within 100 days after coming to power. Khatter also highlighted six central government welfare schemes under ‘Samridhi Yozna’ including Pradhan Mantri Jiwan Jyoti Yozna, Pradhan Mantra Surakhsha Beema Yozna, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Beema Yozna, Pradhan Mantra Kisan Maan-dhan Yozna, Pradhan Mantri Laghu Vyapar Maan-dhan Yozna and Pradhan Mantra Shram Yogi Maan-dhan Yozna.

Meanwhile political parties in opposition strongly condemned Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter’s statement about 101 developmental projects announced by ruling BJP government in Haryana state in past 100 days. Abhey Chaulala of INLD said that it is merely a cruel joke to people in the state since BJP government in the state failed to fulfill most of the commitments made to people in the state prior to 2014 Vidhan Sabha polls and now in past 100 days have made false promises to people. He said, what to speak of developments in the state BJP government has failed to bring SYL canal water in the state, which is lifeline for farmers in Haryana state in-spite of Supreme Court of India decision in favour of Haryana. On the other hand, former MP Deepender Hooda strongly condemned Khatter’s statement claiming 101 developmental announcements in the state in past 100 days. He said, the claim is merely an funny statement to attract innocent people in the state well aware of such gossips by leaders of both alliance parties prior to 2019 Vidhan Sabha polls. He said, ruling government has given paddy scam worth crores of rupees exposed in the state recently and sheltering all those involved in corruption
