Over 30000 residents of 6 villages in Jind district under house arrest

According to state health department information, as many as  32 new patients suffering from corona virus have been identified in Haryana state after they were detected corona positive in past 24 hours as such total number of corona positive cases in the state reaches 146, of them 90 patients have been identified those ‘Zamaatis’ arrived in the state after attending gathering at Nizamuddin mosque New Delhi, Information also reveals that seven corona patients in Haryana state have been cured and released from the hospitals so far. Information reveals, as many as 1526 ‘Zamaatis’ have been identified in the state so far, which included 678 at Nuh, 231 at Yamunanagar, 136 at Faridabad, 119 at Panchkula and 107 originally hailing from other countries, of them 40 persons were found corona positive.

According to Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij, several others arrived in Haryana state after attending Tabligi Zamaat suspected still hiding have been finally warned to surrender before police by April 8 evening when action will not be taken against them, failing which cases under sections 307, 188, 269, 270, 271 IPC would be registered against them. Vij told that as many as 30 ‘Zamaatis’ found corona negative were sent to shelter homes in past few hours. He said, search for others still suspected hiding in the state has been intensified by a special police team constituted in the state. Vij disclosed to media persons that Nizamuddin mosque chief  Md Saad went underground after unfortunate incident  is suspected hiding in Haryana or U.P state a police team has been deployed for his search at Nuh and would be arrested soon in case hiding in Haryana.

Over 30000 residents of  six villages Padana, Radhana, Singhvi-khera,  Shamlo kalan, Nidhana and Nidhani in about five kilometres area in Jind district are facing house arrest during present lock down declared in the state government after a resident of village Nidhani was declared corona positive by the health department 19 days ago and admitted at Gangaputra Hospital isolation ward, medical examination of all residents was conducted in the village and the area was declared containment  and buffer zone.

State health department information reveals  that out of 18214 suspected persons in he state 812 persons were stated came in contact with corona positive persons in the state and their samples were sent to laboratory for testing. Information also reveals out of 2194 samples collected from suspected persons the reports of 1639 persons were detective negative, sample reports of another 150 persons is yet awaited, 548 persons suspected corona positive were admitted in the hospitals and reports of  459 samples still awaited.

Meanwhile,  81 years oold woman Kulwant Nirmal Kaur  a retired staff nurse from Government Hospital Chandigarh also a heart, sugar and diabetes patient suffering from COVID-19 since past two weeks after came in contact with a corona positive person arrived from abroad was admitted to MAX Super Specialities  Hospital for treatment cured and returns home.

According to state police department information, 2151 persons arrested by the police in the state allegedly violating lock down directions and 1509 FIRs were registered against them, 59 cases have been registered against those spreading fake rumours, 6251 vehicles were impounded by the police so far and fine worth over Rs 8 crore has been recovered from violators.  In the state
