Wearing face mask essential in Haryana: Health Minister

Addressing  to media persons Haryana health minister Anil Vij said that wearing face mask or covering face with a towel or a ‘gamchha’ while going outside the house has been made essential in the state and police has been directed to take action against those violating directions. He said that 261 sensitive zones have been constituted sealed and thermal screening of residents in these areas suspected came in contact with corona positive persons is being conducted. Vij said, 15738 suspected persons are under observation in Haryana state. He made an appeal to private hospitals having closed down their shutters to remain open at this crucial stage when people are having corona virus threat across the country. He said, special COVID-19 hospitals have been opened in the state to treat corona positive patients He said, arrangements are being made to operate mobile clinics in the state to provide efficient health services to people. He disclosed that 20 out of 22 districts in the state are having corona positive cases.

Information reveals, as many as 829 suspected corona positive patients are under treatment in the state at present, 9599 persons have completed service lance period and out of 3669 samples collected from suspected persons the report of 2477 samples was found negative and report of 1024 samples is yet awaited.  According to state health department information, 22 corona positive patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals and four corona patients reported died. Information reveals, district wise detail of corona positive cases has been identified as 34 cases in Gurugram district, 33 cases in Nuh district, 29 cases each in Faridabad and Nuh districts, 8 cases in Ambala district,  6 cases in Karnal district, 5 cases in Panchkula district, 4 cases in Panipat district, 3 cases each in  Sonepat and Sirsa districts,  2 cases each in  Bhiwani, Hisar, Kaithal and Rohtak districts and one case each in Jind, Charkhi Dadri and Jhajjar districts.

Information reveals, Corona virus has severely affected the economic condition of trade and industry in the country as well as exports unable to execute large number of orders from various countries. There is possibility government may provide relaxation to industries in the country subject to conditions including frequent sanitization at work place, regular use of face masks, observing social distance while on duty and facility to collect and leave staff from their residence by employer in micro, small and medium industry sectors including automobiles & auto parts, steel and alloys, food products, plastic goods, pulp & paper, telecom, pharmaceuticals, optical fibre, security equipment, seeds & fertilizers, cement, paints, compressors and condensers and jewellery.
