Out of 76 Indians staying in United States America illegally undergoing legal proceedings against them were sent back by air to Amritsar airport include 21 residents of Haryana state sent to Panchkula civil hospital for quarantine and were identified corona positive permanent residents of eight from Karnal district, four from Kurukshetra district, three each from Kaithal and Naraingarh (Ambala district), two from Jind district and one from Yamunanagar istrict. All 16 crorna positive patients were admitted in the isolation ward at COVID-19 hospital MM Medical College & Hospital Mullana in Ambala district on Saturday late evening. These Indians were suspected sent to United States of America illegally vis Mexico by immigration agents and remained behind bars in USA allegedly staying in USA without documents.The family members of those arrived from USA were happy to see them but at the same time seen sad to see them suffering from corona virus. Earlier, in March this year as many as 14 persons arrived from Italy were found corona positive, treated at Gurugram and 13 of them cured, discharged from hospital and one of them died in the hospital and all of them returned back to their country.
Haryana state has always suffered due to corona virus earlier from Tabligi Zamaat narrived from New Delhi in which large number of foreign nationals from Indonesia, Thailand, Bangladesh, Mylasia, Srilanka and South Africa were found corona positive. After this residents of NCR area in the state had to suffer corona virus due to people having Delhi connection and now persons pushed back to India from USA are spreading disease. State Home Minister Anil Vij told media persons that investigation as regard people now arrived from USA has been handed over to In-charge Anti-human Cell P.K. Aggarwal also DGP Crime Haryana to find out how and through whom these persons illegally sent to USA, from where fake entry documents were prepared and action would be taken against immigration agencies involved in these cases.
Dr Kuldeep Singh CMO Ambala told that health department Ambala conducted a survey on Saturday in eight containment zones at Ambala screening 12825 persons. He disclosed that 4809 samples to check corona virus has been taken so far in the district of them 4670 reports detected negative and 101 reports are yet awaited. Dr Kuldeep Singh told that five foreign nationals including a old couple from USA, one person each from Britain, Saudi Arab and Phillipine are having quarantine at Gulmohar Hotel on Ambala-Chandigarh highway. He said, the reports of 42 persons were identified corona positive so far at Ambala, of them two died and others cured, discharged from the hospitals.
Dr Amrinder Kaur in-charge Haryana Forest Department told media persons that Haryana state government is developing ‘COVID Vatika’ nurseries in 11 villages in the state having 24 types of herbal plants in each useful to increase immunity system in human body. She told that COVID-19 nurseries would be set up in 1100 villages across the sate having 50 nurseries in each district.prior to coming rainy season.
