Flipkart & ATL willing to expand network in 350 acrea area in Haryana

To bring back state economy on its track, Haryana state government is trying hard to invite
industrial investment in the state which will not only bring prosperity but also create sources
of employment opportunities for youths in the state. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister
Haryana Rajesh Khuller told that large number of manufacturing companies in Japan and
China has expressed desire to invest in Haryana state setting up their industrial units and
Haryana government is going to provide them all basic facilities including land at subsidized
rates on outright sale or on lease hold basis, besides providing all facilities under a roof. He
said, matter has been discussed in detail with CEOs and directors of nearly a dozen prominent
companies in past three weeks.
Khuller said, electronics company ATL has demanded nearly 200 acres land at Sohna in
Gurugram district, whereas another e-commerce company Flipkart has demanded 150 acre
land on Kundli-Manesar-Palwal express way to make investment in Haryana. Khuller said,
state government has already permitted industry closed down during lock down to start
production without seeking permission from the government. He said, permission has also
been granted to those tiny manufacturing units in the town including some of them
functioning in slum localities to earn their livelihood. Khuller further added that large number
of migrant labourers left for their native states during lock down period if willing to return to
their work place government may assist them to return to their work place and arrange their
transport facility by rail or bus.
Khuller made another option for to those entrepreneurs purchased industrial plots from
HSIIDC unable to pay instalment payment before March 15 till June this year will be
permitted to remit instalment payment without interest and penalty on it.
