Haryana introduces ‘One Block –One Product’ scheme to boost exports

According to new policy introduced by Haryana state government, art and handicraft products prepared in the state will now be available in international markets introduced under ‘One Block- One Products scheme. Talking to media persons, Dushyant Chautala Deputy Chief Minister Haryana also holding the charge of industry in the state said that similar to the scheme ‘One District-One Product’ introduced by Prime Ministe Nasrender Modi in the country, Haryana state government too is going to launch this scheme in the state to boost manufacturing of art and handicraft products in Haryana state in much demand all over in the world.

According to information, in automobile manufacturing sector, Haryana state is holding 67% share in manufacturing cars, 60% share in manufacturing motorcycles and 50% share in production of tractors in the country. Similarly, in case of household products nearly 50% refrigerators produced in the country are being manufactured in Haryana state and nearly 60% share in export of quality Basmati rice in the country is being made from Haryana state also famous for shoes having embroidery being manufactured in Haryana state at Narwana, Hansi and Ratia in the state are in much demand all over in the country having much scope for sale in export markets across the world. One cannot forget the taste of ‘keenu’ being cultivated at Sirsa and milk products prepared at Hansi. The steel industry of Hisar in the state is famous all over in the world.

Dushyant Chautala said, ‘One Block-One Product’ scheme being launched in the state will have all types of support including brand recognition in in the country as well as in export markets provided by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise and financial assistance for getting loan on minimum rate of interest under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Loan and Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yozna schemes and the state government will also provide land at cheaper rates especially to female entrepreneurs.  Chautala said, the scheme will also create sources of employment for both sexes in the state.
