AAP announces protest against Manohar government in Haryana

Addressing a press conference at Ambala Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state convener Lavleen Tuteja said, ruling Haryana government claiming to have a transparent and corruption-free government since past seven years have completely failed with repeated cases of auction of government jobs including senior officers by Haryana Public Services Commission and leakage of large number of examination papers, which has been exposed in the name of developments in these years. He said, large number of complaints for extracting money from people in the name of ID and no dues are being received by municipalities and municipal corporations as disclosed even by municipal councillors and deputy mayor as such government machinery has become out of control under the influence of political leaders and their near and dears in the state.

Tuteja said, in a small state like Haryana during year 2020 in-spite of lock down declared by the government due to epidemic outbreak the state witnessed extremely bad law and order recording maximum number of criminal cases during the year which included 1165 cases of murder, 1373 rape cases, 163 cases of gang rape and 2949 kidnapping cases as a result of shortage of staff in police department in the state since no recruitment has been made in past seven years.

Tuteja said, police department in the state have 22671 vacant posts, which include 35 posts of IPS cadre, 6 posts of ASP, 61 posts of DSP, 229 posts of male Inspector, 6 posts of female Inspector, 942 posts of male Sub Inspector, 66 posts of female Sub Inspector and the remaining posts of Head Constable and Constables. Tuteja further added, there is acute shortage of doctors, staff nurses and paramedical staff in government hospitals all over in the state and even government hospitals situated in towns on national highway and state highways fail to provide treatment to accident victims after 3 PM due to shortage of doctors and usually refer such patients to PGI Chandigarh or PGI Rohtak and large number of them either die on the way or in the absence of timely treatment. AAP leader said, his party has decided to launch a protest in Haryana state against ruling government.
