Veteran journalist Vinod Dua’s health critical, informs daughter Mallika Dua

He was awarded the Padma Shri for Journalism in 2008 by the Government of India

Senior journalist Vinod Dua is still battling for life in the ICU, his daughter Mallika Dua has informed, reports went viral of his demise. Earlier, we had broken a story of his passing along with several others. However, we have corrected the story now and wish the iconic journalist returns to the field after regaining his health.

Mallika Dua shared a note on her Instagram handle and urged everyone not to spread rumours about her father’s demise. She further informed that Vinod Dua is still in the ICU and she will issue all official news and updates on him.

Veteran Indian journalist Vinod Dua has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit earlier today after his health got critical. The news of his hospitalisation was shared by Mallika Dua on social media.

The actor-comedian shared a note on her Instagram story and asked her fans to pray for her father’s recovery. She wrote that her father is beyond critical and is in the ICU. His health had been deteriorating rapidly since April and he was unable to come to terms with losing the light of his life, his wife Padmavati Chinna Dua who passed away in June 2021.

Mallika Dua wrote that her father has lived an extraordinary life and given his kids the same. He is immensely loved and revered. She urged her fans to pray for his well-being and experience as little pain as possible. In June-2021, Mallika Dua lost her mother Padmavati Dua to Covid-19. Fondly known as Chinna Dua, she was a well-known radiologist. She and her husband Vinod Dua had both been admitted to Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon on May 14 after testing positive for Covid-19.
