Budget 2022: Parliament Session begins today

NEW DELHI: Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will table the economic survey on today and the Union Budget on tomorrow . Parliament has made all the arrangements for the session due to ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.   According to the schedule released by the Lok Sabha secretariat, the session will start with the President Ram Nath Kovind’s address to both the Houses.

President of India will address to Parliament in the Central Hall at 11 am onwards. After the President’s Address, the Lok Sabha will sit for the transaction of business. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will table the Economic Survey 2021-22. Parliament Session for budget will be held from January 31 to 11 February 2022.

There will be no Zero Hour and Question Hour during the first two days of the Budget Session of the Parliament.
