Chief Minister Haryana Manohar Lal Khatter on the complaints by ministers, MPs and large number of MLAs from BJP, JJP and different political parties in opposition in the state few months ago had warned all government officers in the state to improve their attitude, failing which ruling government will be compelled to take action against such officers. Most of MLAs in state has expressed deep concern over the attitude of such government officers including few senior IAS officers having no change in their behaviour towards them and taking no action to solve public grievances made by them, rather neglecting important matters referred to them as such people of their constituency are losing faith in them. Dis-satisfied senior political leaders as well as MLAs in the state said, most of senior officers working in different government offices even avoid to pick their telephone calls or avoid to reply back and situation turning bad to worst.
Chief Minister has again warned such government officers to extend full cooperation to all ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior party political leaders in the state and try to solve public grievances immediately reported by them, repeating stern action against such government officers neglecting them will be taken and a list of such officers not extending cooperation in this regard, neglecting public grievances, not having satisfactory tuning with ministers, MPs and MLAs is under process. During recent Vidhan Sabha budget session MLAs made complaint against large number of government officers including senior bureaucrats neglecting them, besides allegations as regard large scale corruption in government offices in the state accepting bribe. Ministers, MPs and MLAs are of view that recent few scams exposed by State Vigilance Bureau reported in the state including frauds of value worth crores of rupees in government offices including PWD, Urban Local Body, Haryana Lok Sewa Aayog & Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Public Health, Education , Panchayat and Revenue departments in which senior officers were caught red-handed while accepting bribe has tarnished the image of ruling government.
During recent BJP rally held at Tigaon in Fatidabad district, Rajesh Nagar MLA in the presence of Union State Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar and Political Secretary to CM Ajay Gaur strongly condemned the neglecting attitude of government officers including few in the ranks of IAS in the state taking no action, rather delaying action on public grievances in their Vidhan Sabha constituencies as such they have lost public faith in them as such Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter felt hurt.
The issue was taken seriously by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter became alert in view of AAP wiped out Congress government in the Punjab in recent Vidhan Sabha polls and now in touch with large number of dis-satisfied BJP political leaders as well as heavy weight political leaders of different political parties in opposition preparing a network to contest in 2024 Vidhan Sabha polls in Haryana.
