Three days fair inaugurated to develop Haryana as Pharmaceuticals hub

Chandigarh : 3-Days  Pharma Tech & Lab Expo Fair was inaugurated today in which more than 200 reputed manufacturers from all over the country participated to boost sale and export of their pharmaceutical products and machinery. According to Anil Kumar Choudhary General Manager Haryana Business Fair Authority, business for value worth over Rs 800 crore is expected in this three days fair being organized with the assistance of Engineering Export Promotion Council of India a. dot com Private Ltd.

Choudhary disclosed that Haryana state is doing export of pharmaceutical products of value worth Rs 3000 crore annually with nearly 12% increase every year. He said, Haryana state is having continuously increase in industrial investment every year since after launch of pharmaceutical policy in 2019. He said, Additional Chief Secretary Dr G. Anupma  has extended full cooperation  in organizing this exhibition in which as many as 35 pharmaceutical companies from Haryana state are participating in the Expo Fair.

Rakesh Suraj  Regional Director Indian Engineering Export Council  giving detail of Expo told that several reputed pharmaceutical manufacturing companies from  Himachal Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Karnatka, Gujarat, Maharashtra and M.P and other states are displaing their products in the fair having seminars on different subject on all three days especially focussing on exports.  Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Mnohar Lal Khatter  said, state government is going to hold large number of schemes for Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises in the state and has already approved to develop a Pharma Cluster at Barwala in Panchkula district, Bulk Drugs Pharma Manufacturing Park at Hisar, a Medical Device Park at Panipat and a Medicine Park at Karna in order to develop state as Pharmaceutical Hub.
