Haryana’s first government Atal Cancer Care Centre inaugurated at Ambala

Ambala:  BJP National President J.P. Nadda Rajya Sabha Member and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter on Monday inaugurated Haryana government’s first Cancer Care Centre at Ambala Cantt equipped with most modern equipments for cancer treatment in Northern India. Nadda appreciated the efforts by state government for presenting such a high-tech hospital to treat cancer patients in Northern India, which was a dream project for Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on which amount worth Rs 72.11 crore has been spent by the government. Nadda announced opening of AIMS in Haryana state the foundation stone for the same will be laid by Prime Minister Narender Modi shortly. Among those present at the occasion were Kanwar Pal Education Minister,  J.P. Dalal Agriculture Minister, O.P. Yadav Social Justice Minister, Sandeep Singh Sports Minister, Kamlesh Dhanda  Women & Child Development Minister, Ratan Lal Kataria MP, Aseem Goel MLA Ambala City and O.P. Dhankhad BJP sate president.

Naddha appreciated the role of Health Minister Anil Vij and Manohar Lal Khatter for presenting such a high tech cancer hospital to treat cancer patients in the state also help in treating cancer patients in neighbouring states at subsidised rates. Vij told that this cancer care centre will treat patients medically, with the help of surgery and radiation system. Nadda told that country’s biggest cancer centre has been set up at Jkajjar having capacity for 710 beds built with project cost worth Rs 2034 crore. He disclosed that government of India is going to have screening on the basis of population in which cancer will be detected during first stage of disease in youths of age up to 30 years and there is a proposal to open 1.50 lakh Health & Wellness centres across the country of them 1.18 lakh centres has already been prepared so far which include 1147 centres in Haryana state.

Nadda told that Haryana state is now self dependant in case of oxygen and appreciated efforts by Prime Minister Modi when 2500 PSA plants has been set up in 112 days producing3324 ton oxygen. He disclosed that in health sector 115 centres including five centres in Haryana has been set up to provide medicines, artificial body organs and surgery under Amrit Yozna Scheme in the country which has benefited 2.93 patients supplied medicines of value Rs 4512 crore at subsidized rates Rs 2324 crore. Naddha said, people having annual income less that Rs 1.80 lakh are getting benefits of free medical services under Ayushman Bharat scheme, besides 485 schemes in 37 government deparments in Haryana have been made on line.

While addressing a large gathering, Nadda said, BJP leaders produce their report card before public and did whatever committed to people in past years and the party does not believe in politics as regard religion, caste, community and ‘Bhai Bhatijawad’. He raised a question over past governments ruled in Haryana state failed to provide efficient health services to people in past years in the area. He said, BJP government is pro-responsive as well as pro-responsible. He further added, it took 10 years to develop chicken pox medicine, 27 years to develop BCG medicine, 30 years to develop polio vaccine, 37 years to develop hepatitis medicines, 38 years to develop medicine for tetnus, 22 years to develop medicines for measles and 100 years to develop medicines for treatment of Japani fever. whereas our Prime Minister Narender Modi was successful in getting developed two vaccines for the treatment of Corona fever in a period of only nine months saving life of 13 crore people in the country providing vaccination to 2.5 crore people in a day.  Nadda said, there is a proposal to set up medical college in every district in Haryana state by year 2025.
