Sources reveals, BJP decision to contest present Zila Parishad and Municipal polls in the state independently on BJP symbol was taken in a hope to win maximum number seats since BJP leaders feel that JJP is a rural based party having limited number of voters in majority of seats in urban areas as such JJP candidates may be unsuccessful in most of the seats located in rural areas.
