Amritsar, September 8 ‘ A young man was allegedly killed by three nihangs near the Golden Temple.
Confirming the incident here today, Police  commissioner Arunpal Singh said that incident  occurred  last night at Kahia Wala Bazar in the walled city  near the Golden Temple.
He said victim has been identified Harmanjeet Singh (22) resident of Chattiwind locality Amritsar.
He further said victim was standing at Kahia wala Bazar where three nihangs came, indulged  in verbal spat alleged that victim was in the influence of alcohol besides consuming  tobacco  substance and gradually they indulged in manhandled with  Victim Harmanjeet Singh.
Before escaping from the spot accused grievesouly injured Harmanjeet with sharp edged weapon, attacked on his head and victim died due to profuse bleeding.
Commissioner  said all the alleged accused  have been identified as one of the accused Ramandeep  Singh also arrested by police and  rest two would be  nabbed shortly.
