Adampur Vidhan Sabha bi-polls in Haryana to have four sided contest

Political activities have started in Haryana state after the announcement of Vidhan Sabha bi-polls at prestigious Adampur seat got vacant due to resignation by Kuldeep Bishnoi son of the former Haryana Chief Minister late Bhajan Lal who joined hands with BJP ruling in the state after he resigned from Congress. This Vidhan Sabha seat remained occupied by Bhajan Lal family since past 24 years now going to have fourth time bi-polls incoming month and likely to have tough contest between four political parties in the state: ruling BJP, Congress, INLD and a new party entering in the state first time Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Adampur Vidhan Sabha constituency had witnessed bi-polls during past years in 1996, 2008 and 2011 in which candidates from former Chief Minister late Bhajan Lal’s family have been declared winners on this seat every time on behalf of Congress. Information reveals, this would be the first time when the candidate from late Bhajan Lal’s family will contest polls on this seat on behalf of BJP instead of Congress. However, Arvind Kejriwal has also announced that AAP candidate will contest on this seat also in these bi-polls first time in Haryana. At the same time Abhay Chautala General Secretary INLD also claiming victory over this seat this time. There is possibility of Bhavya Bishnoi son of Kuldeep Bishnoi who lost Lok Sabha polls from Hisar Lok Sabha constituency in last polls may contest in coming Adampur Vidhan Sabha bi-polls but the decision rests upon BJP high command since coming highly prestigious Adampur bi-polls are going to have a very tough contest this time and BJP high command will take no risk at any cost and like to have only a winning candidate in these coming bi-polls.

Sources reveal, it is not so easy for Kuldeep Bishnoi to win Adampur bi-polls this time which is a real challenge for former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda also leader of opposition in Haryana Vidhan Sabha wants to defeat Kuldeep Bishnoi said good-by to Congress at any cost. Moreover, former Haryana Chief Minister Om Parkash Chautala known as Master of Politics, too, trying his best for a successful come back in Haryana politics having victory in favour of INLD contestant in coming bi- polls at Adampur. There are few other heavy weight Congress leaders in waiting list to contest in coming Adampur Vidhan Sabha polls which include the names of former minister Prof. Sampat Singh, Jai Parkash JP, Chander Parkash, Kulbir Beniwal andGaurav son of Prof. Sampat Singh and former Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan but he will not like to contest these polls against his brother. Information also reveals that Satinder Singh a popular political leader in the area may contest in these polls on behalf of AAP, whereas another prominent political leader in the area Kuldeep Beniwal may contest coming polls on this seat on behalf of INLD.

Every political party in Haryana claims victory of their contestant in coming Vidhan Sabha bi-polls at Adampur. Leader of opposition in Haryana Vidhan Sabha Bhupinder Singh Hooda while talking to media persons said that Congress candidate has been winner in every poll in this constituency in past years and sure to win this seat in coming bi-polls too. On the other hand Kuldeep Bishnoi refuting claims by Hooda replied that it was not because of Congress but because of late Bhajan Lal’s family members Congress candidates have been winners on this seat and like in past the candidate contesting polls from Bhajan Lal family will be winner on this seat in coming polls also.
