Ambala-Kala Amb & Ambala-Mohali Green Field Expressway projects sanctioned

Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij while addressing media persons here expressed his gratitude to the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari for sanctioning both projects installation of both Ambala-Kala Amb and Ambala-Mohali Green Field Expressways. He conveyed thanks to the Union Minister for taking full interest for approving of Ambala Ring Road to Kala Amb four laning and Ambala Mohali Roads with cost of 1183.70 Cr”.Vij said that approval of Rs 1183.70 crore for Green Field Expressway from Ambala to Kala Amb and Ambala to Mohali has been given by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari which is a matter of happiness that with the construction of both the expressways, the connectivity of Ambala would be even better in future, as well as the commuters would get maximum benefit from it.

It is worth noting that even before this, due to the efforts of Home Minister Anil Vij, 40 km long Ambala Ring Road project has also been approved by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at a cost of Rs 885 crore and the  tenders are also being floated soon for the construction of Ring Road. Vij continued that the new 33km long Ambala-Kala Amb Highway will start from the Ambala Ring Road and this highway will be made from Shahzadpur till Kala Amb on which two major bridges and many small bridges will be constructed on this four-lane highway in addition to this a 15 vehicle underpasses will be constructed on the highway and a separate route will be made for each village to climb the highway.  The new highway will connect to Ring Road in Ambala near Panjokhra village near the tow and this will be a separate highway from the old Naraingarh Road.

Vij told that a new 31 km long Ambala-Mohali highway is also being constructed by the National Highways Authority of India which will give better connectivity from Ambala to Mohali.  This highway will be a six-lane highway in which the drivers will have the convenience of commuting. The residents of area cannot forget the efforts by Vij got approved a civil airport services from Ambala and residents of area the the industrialists of ‘Science City’ will now have to go to Chandigarh and Delhi to avail air services.
