Large number of residents of Ambala gathered at Ambala Cantt railway station to welcome new train Vande Bharat Express arrived at the platform of Ambala Cantt railway station and extended best wishes to India railways. This train will take two hours and fifty minutes in journey from New Delhi to Chandigarh inaugurated by Prime Minister Narender Modi given gift to people in Himachal Pradesh by given green signal to train at Una railway station. Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij travelled along with Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter and Ambala City MLA Aseem Goel in the train as ordinary passengers from Una and welcomed by large number of BJP leaders as well as workers in the region. Vij told that it is fourth new upgraded version train in the country which will provide relief to passengers travelling in Himachal especially tourists as well as pilgrims visiting religious places in the state including Chintpurni, Jawalamukhi, Banglamukhi, Brajeshwari Devi, Chamunda Devi temples. The residents of town conveyed thanks to Union Railway Minister for this achievement.
Addressing media persons Vij said, the structure of India Railways is fast changing in the country as seen by him closely since he was born in Railway Colony because his father was a railway employee and seen rail engines being driven by coal and diesel, followed by the era of electric trains and it is due to Prime Minister Narender Modi everything in the country turning to modernization having international standard having new techniques in every sector in the country. Expressing concern Vij said that railways could not achieve progress in past 70 years as required, however in past few years Prime Minister Modi has given a new age to Indian Railways desiring that bullet trains should run on every rail track across the country. Vij said, people in Haryana state are lucky to have two new age fast trains as earlier a train running between New Delhi and Katra railway stations was gifted to residents in Haryana.
Information reveals that Vande Bharat Express train will have 130 km per hour speed while on the rail track between Delhi and Ambala, have 110 kph speed when on track between Ambala to Chandigarh from where its speed will reduce to 100 kph up to Morinda railway station, from Morinda will run at 110 kph speed from Morinda to Nangal Dam and reduce to 100 kph when travelling between Nangal Dam to Amb Andora.
