Liz Truss resigns as UK PM,
opp demands fresh elections

British Prime Minister Liz Truss resigned from her post on Thursday evening. She resigned from her post saying that she is finding herself unable to work further in this position. She has also made the record of becoming the Prime Minister of Britain for the shortest time. Now the opposition in the country has demanded fresh elections for the lower house.

Remember, a month and a half ago, in the election for the leader of the Conservative Party, she defeated Rishi Sunak of Indian origin in a tough contest. Now there is a possibility of Rishi becoming the leader of the Conservative Party again and the PM of Britain.
