Two senior Haryana government officers arrested while accepting bribe

It seems Haryana state government officers as well as employees feel taking bribe as their moral right. Teams of State Vigilance Bureau Haryana arrested two senior government officers red handed while accepting bribe in past 24 hours. On the complaint of a contractor Amit a resident of Narwana to vigilance department that payment of his bill for payment Rs 6.13 lakh was lying unpaid in the office of irrigation department at Narwana in Jind district since past one and half year since concerned Executive Officer Banarsi Das demanding Rs 60000 bribe in view of releasing his payment when he informed vigilance department on 21st October and according to a plan when the contractor Amit contacted Executive Engineer Banarsi Das to hand over bribe money he was called at the rest house late evening when vigilance team in the presence of duty magistrate Sanjay Singh arrested Executive Engineer red handed accepting Rs 60000 currency notes and a case was registered against him at the police station. According to information Banarsi Das Executive Engineer was being retired on 31st October this year.

In another case, Team from vigilance department Karnal led by Narender Singh DSP arrested Bhupinder Singh Mining Engineer at Bhiwani while accepting Rs 1 lakh bribe from Ajay Kumar a resident of Bhiwani allegedly demanding  money for issuing a permit to lift soil when he lodged complaint with vigilance department at Toll Free number on 21st October in the afternoon and investigation in the case was handed over to Narender Singh DSP vigilance department at Karnal immediately who arrived at Bhiwani to take action in the case. Bhupinder Singh Mining Engineer called   complainant Ajay Kumar late evening outside his office near Mini Secretariat Bhiwani and was arrested by vigilance team red-handed while accepting bribe amount and a case was registered against him at Bhiwani police station.
