During a recent meeting held at Suraj kund in Faridabad district presided by Hayana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter in which Amit Shah Home Minister and large number of bureaucrats from state crime department were also present when the issue of fake passports being prepared in the state prepared on the basis of fake documents, even ‘Aadhar Cards’ giving rise to the criminals activities in which it was observed that gangsters as well as hard core criminals managed to flee to other countries after committing crimes in order to avoid police arrest. Chief Minister disclosed that state crime department after thorough investigations identified nearly 250 persons found involved in such illegal practices in the state some of them also having close links with few police personnel in the state, out of them 126 such persons have already been arrested. He said, strict action is being taken against those employees assisting such type of agents in the state causing harm to national security. Khatter said, assistance of Gujarat Forensic University in this regard was very helpful and call detail on mobile phones also proved helpful for the arrest of such agents getting prepared fake passports as well as even ‘Aadhar Cards’ carrying fake addressed of criminals. Khatter said that those involved in illegal practices will not be spared.
After incident reported at Fatehabad in Haryana state where nearly 100 passports were detected prepared on the basis of fake documents even fake Aadhar Cards of the applicants were found fake when state government took action for cancellation of such fake passports posing a severe threat to national security. According to information, passports are prepared on the basis of police verification of area where applicants residing and a thorough investigation of applicant as regard his or her address duly identified by two respectable persons residing in the area and thoroughly checked by security branch in SP office refer the case to concerned police station.
According to information, Passport office in Haryana was directed to investigate all passports prepared after year 2017 to detect embezzlements in passports prepared in past five years by concerned passport office, which is however a difficult task since large number of passports are issued every day in the state require action against those police personnel investigated fake particulars of applicant. It was observed that in few cases the police personnel verified particulars as regard applicant while sitting in the police station without making a visit for the reason best known to them which require action against those involved in such illegal practices.
Information also reveals that nearly 21 similar cases in which passports were prepared on the basis of fake police verification were detected only in Karnal district as well as few cases also detected in Kurukshetra as well as few other district in the state, surprisingly no action was taken against such police personnel so far. Mystery started during investigation in the cases of several hard core criminals and gangsters most wanted by Haryana, Punjab, Delhi and Rajasthan police managed to flee abroad after committing crimes and there is a long list of such criminals falsely shown residents of Haryana state. During investigation as regard Fatehabad case that 29 fake passports of those applicants were shown permanent resident duly verified by the police later identified that the addresses mentioned in the passports were false since the applicants were permanent residents of other states.
