Amritsar, November 2 -The bordering city of Amritsar would experience real sound of Bombs, fire arms, hand grenades and Gun firing by troops of Punjab Police and National Security Guards during their practice session the different locations in Amritsar on November 3.
Addressing the press conference here today Police Commissioner Arun Pal Singh said that the people of city shouldn’t scare with the defining sound of Bombs, hand grenades and Gun firing as it would be part of exercise of security personnel as NSG has chosen the Punjab police for this purpose in order to make the Punjab Police hi-tech.
A routine traffic to be affected and movements of Ambulances would also be witnessed on roads because of this exercise there was no need to panic.
He said this exercise by security personnel is being done to tackle any disastrous attack in precarious circumstances, if it happens in future.
All such exercises jointly by police and NSGC being done, just two days ahead of visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Radha Soami Sect Beas just 45 kilometers away from the Amritsar city.
