Joint venture manufacturing cluster in 3000 hectare area at Hisar

While interacting with media persons Deputy Chief Minister Haryana Dushyant Chautala also holding the charge of state industrial development told that an MoU between Haryana state government and Union government has been signed to develop a manufacturing cluster jointly in 3000 hectare area at Hisar which would be a textile hub in the state according to new textile policy constituted by the state and a meeting in this regard was held on December 5, 2022.

Chautala said that large number of industrial developmental proposals to develop Hisar as an integrated manufacturing cluster  jointly by the state government and government in centre are under process likely to be finalized in IMC meeting being held at New Delhi shortly between the experts of both governments when this joint venture between the both will be given final shape.

In reply to a media question as regard construction of domestic airport at Hisar, Chautala said that work for the construction of runway at this airport is going on war footing basis likely to be completed by March 2023. He told that a trial for landing of an 18 seat aircraft on the runway has been scheduled at this airport on December 12, 2022 by the officers of aviation department from New Delhi.
