At the same time, Anil Vij termed Rahul’s yatra as a pretense and said that the whole of India is watching what he is pretending as a yatra.  He said that crores and billions of rupees have been spent on the five star hotel which is running with him because all the amenities are available in it.  Home Minister sought the account of Rahul’s yatra expenses and said that from where did Rahul Gandhi get so much money that he has been on tourism for so many days.
On Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s statement that the BJP separates Mother Sita from Ram and chants only Jai Shri Ram, Vij tauntingly said that let them accept this because till yesterday they used to say this, that Ram is imaginary. He said, regarding this, a case was also filed in the Supreme Court that Ram is imaginary, the Ram Setu built is imaginary, now at least they have started believing in Ram.  He said that even in any form, thankfully that thing has come in his mouth.

On the allegations made by Rahul Gandhi about the poor condition of the roads during his yatra  Anil Vij said that Rahul Gandhi has just come out on the roads and he has not seen the roads of his regime.  The Congress party which ruled this country for more than 50 years has never peeped outside Delhi. He said, extremism came in the North-East or Kashmir, that too because the Congress did not do the work of development there, if they had developed, then the youth would have been engaged in work, they never developed the country and now the BJP government is doing all the development.  A network of roads is being laid all over India, development is taking place in the North East and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going there every one or two months.  He said, Article 370 was abolished in Kashmir and now industries are coming up there and complete development is taking place there as well.
