Two inter-state gangs lifting cars busted in Haryana in a week

Haryana police busted two inter-state gangs involved in lifting and selling stolen luxury cars in a filmy style. Hisar police arrested and registered a case against four youths identified as Sunny Yadav resident of Shakarpur Delhi, Mehtab and Nadir both resident of Shamli in Uttar Pradesh and Sunny also a resident of  Delhi allegedly lifted a luxury car for which an FIR was lodged with City police station on 6th December 2022. Investigations in the case revealed that the gang of four used to purchase those cars being sold at very low price because the owners of these vehicles failed to pay loan instalments and the vehicles were disposed of at much lesser prices to recover the loan amount.

According to police information, the gang members used to sell stolen vehicles through Car-24 network after preparing fake ID, Aadhar Card and fake documents after installation of GPS system in the vehicle and used to sell such vehicles in other states retaining the duplicate key of the vehicle with them. According to the statement made by arrested accused during five days police remand admitted stolen such sold cars on the basis of GPS system in the vehicles with duplicate key retained by them when stolen vehicles were sold.

The arrested youths disclosed that both Mehtab and Nadir were responsible for searching out those vehicles in which the owners were defaulters and not remitting loan instalments, Sunny Yadav was getting prepared fake documents of the vehicle, whereas the fourth member of the gang Sunny earlier working in a Car-24 showroom and was well aware of all formalities  and documents required  for sale of vehicles. According to police information, the gang members Mehtab and Nadir had stolen ‘Kareta’ car parked outside the Cloth market Hisar on the basis of location of vehicle through GPS system installed in the vehicle.

In another case, CIA staff of Nuh police in Mewat district busted a inter-state gang involved in stolen luxury cars and other criminal activities including thefts, snatchings, ransom demand and ATM thefts  arresting four persons including the kingpin of the gang Ikram alias Akram and seized from them a stolen car,  three country made pistols, eight live cartridges, three master keys and two fake number plates . According to police record, a total number of 73 cases are already registered against the members of gang operating in Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan states. The kingpin of the gang Ikram alias Akram also carried a reward of Rs 60,000 on his arrest. The arrested accused were identified as Ikram alias Akram (30) also king pin of gang , Ajaruddin alias Ajru (30) both residents of Jaimat village, Sadruddin alias Sadar (24) and Azad (26) both residents of Rithat village in Nuh district. The gang was active in UP, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi states.

Addressing media persons, Varun Singla, SP Nuh, said that on a clue the CIA staff of Tauru nabbed the accused late night while planning to commit a crime under Gurnawat Railway Bridge in a white car.  SP told that the leader of gang Ikram alias Akram most wanted by UttaR Pradewsh and Raajasthan police  carried Rs 60000 reward reward was involved in 23 cases of robbery, theft, ATM robbery, extortion in Rajasthan state as well as wanted in 20 cases of robbery registered in Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Noida in UP, Alwar, Jaipur in Rajasthan and Faridabad in Haryana.
