7% High BP, 9% Sugar & 8% Anemic patients identified in Haryana

According to recent ‘Nirog Haryana Yozna’ launched by the state health department initially having door to door survey conducted by the teams of Aanganwari and health workers in five districts in the state during first phase of survey campaign conducted on 98,13,714 persons it was identified  that 7% people were found  suffering from high blood pressure, 9% were suffering from sugar diseases and 8% people were found anemic which included maximum number of women and children.

According to a health department spokesperson, health cards of every person in the state are being prepared and handed over to them under this scheme, besides the entire data will also be uploaded on state health department record for future reference in six categories according to age group up to 0-6 months, 7-59 months, 6-18 years,19-40 years, 41-60 years and above age 60 years.

During initial survey conducted in the state by health department teams in five districts Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Kurukshetra, Sirsa and Fatehabad  few persons were detected having cancer symptoms in their body in which Charkhi Dadri was found in first position having eight confirmed patients, followed by five confirmed patients in Jhajjar district and four confirmed patients each detected in Sirsa, Fatehabad and Kurukshetra districts. Information reveals that ‘Nirog Haryana Yozna’ aiming to provide efficient health services to residents in the state by the state government was launched few days ago at Kurukshetra by President of India Draupdi Murmu during her visit to Haryana in which state government launched a scheme for free health examination and treatment of 98,13,214 persons belong to families having annual income less that Rs 1,80,000.
