Scoot Airline: 32 Passengers missed flight due to sudden change in scheduled timing

Amritsar, January 19 – Passengers at Shri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport Amritsar left high and dry when a Singapore bound flight took off hours ahead of scheduled timing due to sudden change in its  departure timing, leaving high  and dry behind 32 passengers on.

The Scoot Airline flight was scheduled to depart at 7.55 pm but it took off at 4 pm on Wednesday according to Airport Authority by saying that all the passengers were communicated well in advance through their email ids by the booking agents concerned.

Talking to The Financial World correspondent here today, Director Airport Shri Guru Ramdas ji International Airport V.K. Seth said, “ All the booking agents were informed well in time who further informed their clients subsequently to them. But only one agent couldn’t inform his clients (passengers) the reason best known to him. Moreover, 263 passengers who boarded the flight had reported well in time at Airport. If we talk about the change of timing of flight, a proper procedure was followed as it was with the prior clearance from the Airport Authority of India besides all authorities concerned. These only 32 passengers missed the flight due to lapse on the part of their booking agent”.
