Congress never gave credit for freedom to others except itself: Anil Vij

Ambala : Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij said that the Congress never gave credit for freedom to others except itself, till date they says ‘Le di humein azaadi bina khadg bina dhal, sabarmati ke sant tune kar diya kamal. Vij said that Sabarmati saint has done wonders and he salutes him, but by saying ‘Bina Khadg Bina Dhal’ we are insulting those who gave their sacrifices. While celebrating the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Park in Ambala Cantonment today, Home Minister Anil Vij saluted Netaji by offering flowers on his 12 feet tall statue along with hundreds of workers.
 
After this, during interacting with media persons, Home Anil Vij said that 26,000 soldiers of ‘Azad Hind Fauj’ were martyred during the occupation of Andaman and Nicobar. He said, when we say ‘Bina Khadga Bina Dhal’ then we are also insulting the sacrifices of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev. Vij added, the unsung heroes, who were never remembered in this freedom struggle are now being remembered for the first time in the country after the Narendra Modi government came to power. Vij said, last year on the birth anniversary of Netaji Narendra Modi himself hoisted the tricolor at the Red Fort. Vij said that Netaji is the first great man who first hoisted the tricolor in Andaman and Nicobar by issuing stamps and currency in 1943 by forming the independent government of the country.

While addressing Home Minister said that today is the birth anniversary of Subhash Chandra Bose and since 2000 we are celebrating the birth anniversary regularly. He said, where we are standing, it was the dirtiest place in the city and all the garbage of the city was being thrown here, strong land mafia of Ambala Cantonment had got this land in their name, but we freed this place by fighting a long battle with anti-social elements and built Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Park here, where today thousands of people from other cities also visit this historic park which has become a picnic spot with restaurant as well as Fast Food eating place, he added.
  
Home Minister Vij said that when this park was to be named many suggestions came, someone said to name the park after Gandhi or Nehru, but, I said that the whole of India is named after Nehru and Gandhi, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose had a huge contribution in independence of country and he was never remembered. Vij said that the statue of Netaji was installed in this park in the year 2000 and we do not forget to remember this day by leaving all the work and come here to say ‘Jai Hind’ since Netaji had goiven the slogan of ‘Jai Hind’.
  
On AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s statement of banning the film on Nathuram Godse, Vij said that no one has seen the film yet and one can say something only after watching the film and these people are the ones who have freedom of expression then we have to see. While talking to media persons on the controversial statement of SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya on Ramcharit Manas, Home Minister said that these people are ignorant of the sentiments given inside Ramcharit Manas. He said, I want to ask that minister whether you know Ramcharitra Manas or not, if you do not know then there is no question of believing or not believing. He said that ‘aap pahale hindu sanskrti, hindu dharm ko padhon, usako jaanon aur phir apanee raay do’.
