48 corrupt, non-performer employees expelled from jobs by Haryana govt

As many as 48 officers, employees working in government offices in Haryana state have been either expelled from jobs by Manohar government in the state in past eight years. Such officers, employees were either found involved in corrupt practices or failed to perform desired services. Talking to media persons Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that ruling government in the state will take similar action against corrupt and non-performers in future also and asked to take pre-retirement from the services in case between age 50-55 or already served for a period of minimum for 20 years. He said, there are nearly 2000 corrupt or non-performer employees in the state including officers in the hit list of state government either to be expelled from the services or asked to take pre-mature retirement since t0here is no place for them in the state government’s zero tolerance policy against corruption and transparency in working.        

According to information, Haryana State Government, too, following the footsteps of the Central Government terminated officers or employees of the age group between 50 to 55 years in last eight years and has decided to adopt similar policy in the state and taking action against officers as well as junior employees involved in corruption, negligent in duty and in incorrect practices in their working, may either be expelled from the job or asked to take pre-mature retirement. Among those 48 employees expelled from jobs were working in the offices of Haryana Government’s various departments, boards, and corporations. Chief Minister said, the government keeps evaluating the performance of officers and employees from time to time after reviewing their service records and the state government will be more vigilant in this regard in future to evaluate the performance of each employee including officers.

Khattar said, present government in the state aims to make the governance system transparent and completely corruption free working on the basic principle of minimum government and maximum government  and corrupt people have no place in present system, moreover according to the government rules the services of officers or employees unfit to work properly can be terminated or retired at the age between 50-55 years or after 20 years of service.
