Arms, ammunition recovered In South Kashmir’s Anantnag: Police

Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday said it busted a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant hideout and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition in Rakh Momin area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

In a statement, a Police spokesperson said on that March 12 night, a joint search operation was launched along with army in the area, on the basis of a specific input. 

The search led  to busting of a Lashkar-i-Toiba hideout and subsequent recovery of huge cache of arms, ammunition and other war like stores.

The recovery includes five IEDs, PTDs programmed timer devices and RCIEDs, six detonators, three pistols, five pistol magazines,  124 ammunition rounds, four remote controls  and thirteen batteries.
