NIA conducts searches at 15 locations in Jammu and Kashmir

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches at 15 locations in seven districts of Jammu and Kashmir in connection with two terror-related cases. 

The districts where searches are underway include Srinagar, Pulwama, Avantipora, Anantnag, Shopian, Poonchh, and Kupwara. 

The NIA is carrying out the searches in coordination with the Central Reserve Police Force and Jammu and Kashmir Police. 

One case was registered by NIA’s Delhi branch in 2021, while the other was lodged by the agency’s Jammu branch in 2022.

This follows previous raids conducted by the NIA on May 15 in Budgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Srinagar, and Anantnag districts, as well as searches conducted on December 23, 2022, in Kulgam, Pulwama, Anantnag, Sopore, and Jammu districts.
