New Parliament: 11 Ministers including PM Modi gets office space on first floor

New Delhi : From the Modi cabinet, 11 ministers like Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Piyush Goyal, S Jaishankar, Nitin Gadkari, Dharmendra Pradhan, Nirmala Sitharaman, Smriti Irani, Ashwini Vaishnav, Arjun Munda and Narendra Singh Tomar were allotted rooms on the ground floor in the New Parliament building as per sources. 

The special session of Parliament has started today. On the second day of this five-day session i.e. from September 19, the proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha of Parliament are to begin in the new building from 1.15pm and 2.15pm respectively. In such a situation, where will the minister’s room be in the new building of Parliament, there is a curiosity in people’s minds.

According to the information received from sources, the ground floor of the Prime Minister’s office has been built in the new parliament building. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has been allotted Room No. 34, Home Minister Amit Shah has been allotted Room No. 33. Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has been allotted Room No. 31, Rajya Sabha Leader Piyush Goyal has been allotted Room No. 30, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has been allotted Room No.12. Foreign Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has been allotted Room No.10, Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani has been allotted Room No.08. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has been allotted Room No.41, Railway and Communications Minister Ashwani Vaishnav has been allotted Room No.17. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has been allotted Room No.11 and Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda has been allotted Room No.09.

Similarly, 9 other cabinet ministers have been allotted offices on the first floor of the new parliament building also. 

MSME Minister Narayan Rane has been allotted Room No.39, Ports, Shipping and AYUSH Minister Sarbanand Sonowal has been allotted Room No. 38. Social Welfare Minister Virender Kumar has been allotted Room No.37. Rural Development Minister Giriraj Singh has been allotted Room No.36. For Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Room No.20, Food Processing Minister Pashupati Paras, Room No.19. For Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Room No.18, Earth Sciences Minister Kiran Rijiju, Room No.17 and Power Minister RK Singh, Room No.16. Apart from this some other cabinet ministers also have been given room on the second floor.
