St Thomas School conducts various Metaverse immersive learning programs for students

Jagadhri : St Thomas School, Jagadhri is conducting various Metaverse immersive learning programs for students to explore space, discover the world and time travel in history using the latest Metaverse technology. The program is being conducted by Gurgaon based, Drishta technology, a pioneer in the cutting-edge technology.

Grade VI to X students of St Thomas School, Jagadhri experienced first of its kind Metaverse immersive learning program “Space Exploration: Discover Life on Exoplanets” in partnership with Drishta 360VR. Students explored uncharted worlds with the advanced Metaverse Virtual Reality technology. The cutting-edge technology enabled students to visit the International Space Station in Earth’s orbit and meet astronauts living there. They stepped into the future of space travel and visited the Trappist-I exoplanet system beyond our Solar System. Students learnt about discovery of exoplanets and watching Hubble Space Telescope, was an unforgettable experience. Students were teleported millions of light-years away from Earth with the state-of-the-art Metaverse VR technology and explored different exoplanets. The program provided individual experience with unparalleled immersion. The wonders of the universe are waiting to be discovered, and now, our students can be at the forefront of space exploration.

An Inspiring Journey from Earth to Space

St. Thomas School, Jagadhri in partnership with Drishta 360VR, conducted first of its kind Metaverse immersive learning program “An Inspiring Journey: From Earth to Space” for grade I to V students. 

Students embarked on an unforgettable space travel experience in the program. The dream of exploring the vastness of space came true with the advanced Metaverse technology. Students visited a rocket launching centre, experienced launching of a rocket and went on a space journey with astronauts in Mataverse virtual reality. They were transported to distant planets, shimmering solar system, and awe-inspiring galaxies. Students also explored other cosmic bodies like asteroids, comets and meteors. Students watched satellites floating in space above our Blue planet. They witnessed Earth from the space and marvelled at the breathtaking views. They learnt about history of human space travel, solar system, planets and other objects in space.
