New Delhi : Lexicon Centre of MSME Excellence (LCME) took a significant stride towards empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pune. Recognized as the backbone of India’s economy, the MSME sector employs approximately 124 million people across 56 million units, making it the nation’s second-largest employer, after agriculture. However, the challenges faced by these enterprises often go unnoticed.
To bridge this gap, LCME organized a seminar, “Atma Nirbhar Bharat – Empowering MSMEs for Excellence.” LCME offers a range of services, including industrial diagnostic studies, process enhancement, skill development programs, standardization, technology adoption initiatives, and collaboration facilitation.

The seminar aimed to bring MSME owners together to discuss synergies, foster collaboration, and provide updates on government schemes to ensure they remain updated and profitably sustainable. Representatives from various sectors, including automobiles, tours and travel, industrial conveyor belts, HR compliance, beverages, plastics, financial, and export consultancies, participated.

Vivek Tripathi and Rahul Khole represented Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) and discussed LUB’s role in supporting MSME growth and the potential partnership with LCME.
Other notable speakers included Vinayak of 24th Mile, Reshma of Mehak Industries, Mangesh of Empire HR, Surendra Kulkarni of Spas Tours, Chandrakant of Dhanapriya Autos, Vinod of V Square Beverages, Suresh Arjun, Rajendra Powar, Nawate and Shashikant.
Speakers shared their positive experiences of receiving support from Lexicon Centre of MSME Excellence in identifying gaps, setting up processes, training, and marketing and promotion.
The discussions encompassed various challenges faced by MSMEs, including manpower, skilling, leveraging strengths, export facilitation, group health insurance, financial literacy, and availability of finance.
Sanju Unni, Chief Manager, Lexicon Centre of MSME Excellence, presented ‘LCME’s journey and unveiled valuable membership plans for MSMEs. These plans offer comprehensive support, including enrolment on the GeM portal, knowledge-sharing sessions, industrial diagnostic studies, corporate video production, and the prestigious Lexicon MSME Award.’
The seminar concluded with a commitment from MSMEs to support one another and encourage more MSMEs to become members of LCME, thus creating a strong, profitably sustainable MSME ecosystem in line with the vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
