Ethics committee summons to BJP MP Nishikant Dubey to submit documents against Mahua Moitra

New Delhi : Now Nishikant Dubey has been summoned by the Parliament’s Ethics Committee to submit Documents against Trinamool MP, Mahua Moitra. Advocate Jai Anant Dehadari, the main complainant, has also been summoned. Nishikanta will have to appear in Parliament on October 26.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has written a letter to the Speaker of the Loksabha, demanding the dismissal of Mahua Moitra’s membership alleging her asking questions in exchange for money. He claimed that this Trinamool MP raised questions against Adani group’s in the Lok Sabha in exchange for money and gifts from some businessman. Besides, Nishikanta also demanded that she be suspended from the Lok Sabha for the time being. The letter of the BJP MP was sent to the Ethics Committee by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. On the basis of that letter, Nishikanta was summoned by the Ethics Committee of the Parliament to show evidence.

Nishikant is not alone, lawyer Joy Anant Dehadari has also written to the CBI seeking an investigation against Mahua. He is the one who brought this allegation against the Trinamool MP. That lawyer has also been summoned by the ethics committee of the parliament. Mahua may also be summoned in the coming days.

Mahua has already filed a defamation case against Nishikant and lawyer Joy Anant Dehadri. However, Mahua had already hinted that this was going to happen. Throwing a challenge at the X handle, she said, “All these fake degree holders and so-called BJP stalwarts are yet to be prosecuted for alleged violation of many privileges. You can bring any motion against me in parliament. But I hope that the Honorable Speaker will settle these outstanding issues before that.”
