Top security officials meet in J&K after 3 successive killings by militants

Top security officials in Jammu and Kashmir held a high-level meeting in Srinagar to review the security situation in the Union Territory in light of the three successive militant attacks which killed one police officer, one migrant labour and critically injured a police officer. 

The meeting was attended by senior officers from the police, Army, CAPFs, and civil administration. The officials discussed measures to prevent further civilian and police casualties in the region.

Security agencies are actively working to track down and neutralize the militants responsible for the attacks.The meeting addressed the security situation along the borders.

Senior officers also assessed the effectiveness of the security grid and examined various security-related aspects within the Union Territory. The meeting highlighted the need to dismantle the support structure and networks that assist militants in the region.
