Bhiwani police station in Haryana arrested a youth identified as Wasim a resident of Nuh in Mewat district of Haryana allegedly cheated nearly 2700 persons  worth crores of rupees in cyber crimes by collecting mobile phone numbers, photographs and passwords from G mail accounts of people. The alleged accused cheated two persons Parveen a resident of village Asalwas Sarheta and a female resident of village Madhan in Bhiwani district and cheated amount worth Rs 5000 in both  cases on December 18, 2023 demanding money  posing as one of their close relative in case of  Parveren   whereas asked to inform bank account number to the female in order to remit money in their account against loan taken by him from her husband. The cyber crime police in the district started investigation and finally reached up to the cyber ‘Thug’ who was master mind running a racket along with two others. Police trying for the arrest of both companions of Wasim. 

Wasim studied up to class 6th, used to collect datas as well as photographs from the Gmail account. During preliminary investigation the  cyber police branch was able to find out that the alleged accuse Wasim had cheated a large number of people by transferring the amount in his account through credit card. According to Vikas Kumar SHO Cyber police station Bhiwani  that during investigation it was found that Wasim was involved in nearly 2700 on-line cheating frauds for amount worth crores of rupees and the gang of three used to recover data from Gmail accounts and usually demanding money required in emergency to be remitted through UPI on Watts up and in some cases they were convinced to see the photograph in the Watts up message. Vikas Kumar of cyber crime branch made an appeal to people not to share Password or deail of their bank account or mobile phone number with any one, since wasim used to convince people  refund the money taken as loan to find our bank accoumt number to withdraw money from the accounts.
